MYTP Alumni Program (MAP)
The purpose of the MYTP Alumni Program is to allow for past students of MYTP to return and showcase and improve their skills through the production of a play. The program will run from May until June/July. The performances will be in June, July or August of the same year as part of our Summer Stock program, or Theatre in the Park program. This may differ from year to year based on opportunities, space and time.
The MAP program’s goal is to allow our former students to have opportunities to perform in the Milton area on a yearly basis with a serious focus on plays and dramatic arts performances.
This program will be by enrolment only. Any and all past members are welcome.
MAP Program 2011
The MAP program this year will begin in May. We will be taking part in the Hamilton Fringe Festival from July 14 - 24, 2011 - www.hamiltonfringe.ca This festival is second to Toronto’s Fringe Festival which I participated in last year and received two four star reviews! This festival will provide the opportunity for us to have 6 performances on any of these dates between 4pm and 12 midnight from Monday to Friday, and 12 noon to 12 Midnight on weekends. We will also have a three-hour tech rehearsal between July 10-14, 2011 that we will need to attend.
The program will run under Play With Words Theatre and Milton Youth Theatre Productions for the 2011 year.
