The mission of MYTP is to build confidence and self-esteem in their students
through the Arts.  MYTP provides many opportunities each year for public
community performances – to assist and develop well-rounded art performers.

Ages 4 and up
Program runs September to February

Shining StarsShining Stars (4 - 6 years)

This 45-minute class is a great start to the performing world and is catered to the young imaginative mind.  An introduction to character creation, stage movement and vocal ensemble is just part of what makes learning fun!  Students participate in a “team-like” atmosphere in preparation for participation in a full-length musical in a professional theatre.

Class Offered: Mondays or Tuesdays

ministarsMini Stars (7 – 9 years)

Exploring further into the world of live theatre, enhancing singing, acting and stage movement skills.  Learn the art of thinking on your feet through improvisation and drama games.  Building confidence and self-esteem is also focused on in this age group. Being comfortable with bright lights, loud applause and performing in front of a live audience is all part of the process.

Class Offered: Mondays or Tuesdays

junior theatreJunior Theatre Company (10-12 years)

All weekly classes and workshops are geared toward the skills needed to perform confidently in a full-scale musical production.  Singing, acting and stage movement knowledge is encouraged as we prepare each member for an end of the year performance in a professional theatre.  This class starts off at an hour and a half, gradually lengthening as we get closer to showtime.

Class Offered:  Mondays or Tuesdays

senior theatreSenior Theatre Company
(13 years & Up – more advanced program)

All performing and theatrical skills are fined tuned in this group.  Stage performance, vocal and acting ability delivered with confidence.  All members are cast in a full-scale musical production to be performed in a professional theatre.

Class Offered:  Mondays or Wednesdays
